A Message to Our Community: Living Our Yoga, Together
Dear BikramYogaWorks Family,
At BikramYogaWorks, yoga doesn’t start when you enter the studio or stop when class ends. It continues in how we treat one another, how we care for our shared space, and how we show up for the community we're building—together.
Yes, we come here to strengthen our bodies. But we’re also here to strengthen our community.
Our studio is part of a larger yogic web—everything is connected. Each action, each choice, each person matters. BikramYogaWorks is a business, but it’s also a community. We depend on each other. No business, no community. No community, no business. We grow together.
Lately, we’ve noticed some challenges. Bathroom items and studio comforts have been taken in ways that aren’t sustainable. We understand that life is busy, and sometimes things happen. But this is a moment to reflect and reset—together.
In the Bikram tradition, discipline and honesty are part of the practice. Tapas means doing the right thing, even when it’s hard. Asteya means not taking more than we need.
Every towel, water bottle, and bottle of lotion is here for everyone. When someone takes more than their share, it affects the whole studio.
We want to expand our amenities, not reduce them. With your help, we can not only sustain what we offer but also develop and grow it. Our approach is rooted in care, not control—in partnership, not policing. Acting with awareness and respect allows us to create the conditions for more, together.
Let’s carry our yoga beyond the mat—into the locker room, the lobby, and every moment we share here.
Thank you for your honesty, your care, and your presence.
With gratitude,
The BikramYogaWorks Team
