Meet Teria: Your New Thursday Night Yin Ritual

There’s something powerful about slowing down, about choosing stillness in a world that constantly asks us to go faster. That’s exactly what Teria brings to the mat.

We’re so excited to welcome Teria to the community as our newest yin instructor, guiding Thursday evenings at 8PM in Riverdale Park. Her classes are more than just movement, they’re an invitation to reconnect, reset, and return to yourself.

Teria’s journey back to yoga began during a deeply challenging chapter of her life. While navigating health struggles and the weight of adulthood, she found herself disconnected from her body, her breath, and her sense of balance. It was in that space that yoga called her back.

And everything shifted.

Through consistent, intentional practice, Teria began to rebuild that connection, regulating her nervous system, restoring strength, and rediscovering a sense of calm from within. What started as a personal healing journey has now evolved into something she shares with others.

Her teaching style is grounded, intuitive, and deeply supportive. Drawing from yin, vinyasa, restorative, and gentle flow, Teria weaves in elements of somatic yoga, breathwork, and Reiki energy healing. The result is a practice that encourages release (physically, mentally, and emotionally) while creating space for awareness and ease.

Her Thursday night Yin class is designed to help you unwind from the week, soften into stillness, and reconnect with your body in a meaningful way. Expect long-held poses, mindful breath, and a calm, nurturing environment that meets you exactly where you are.

Join Teria every Thursday at 8PM in Riverdale Park!
